“My bad,” said Israel as they bombed an obvious UN building that housed hundreds of refugees. It was an “accident” they said. Funny, ’cause the same “accident” happened when they were bombing Lebanon a couple of years back. From HuffPo:

Israel shelled the United Nations headquarters in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, engulfing the compound and a warehouse in fire and destroying thousands of pounds of food and humanitarian supplies intended for Palestinian refugees.

U.N. workers and Palestinian firefighters, some wearing bulletproof jackets, struggled to douse the flames and pull bags of food from the debris after the Israeli attack, which was another blow to efforts to ease the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. Dense smoke billowed from the compound.

Oh no, this isn’t genocide. Oh no they weren’t trying to starve and kill the Palestinian people by destroying their food and medical supples. Read the rest of the article and you’ll see that the UN gave their GPS coordinates to the IDF. So Israel knew exactly where the building was.

This isn’t about the systematic destruction of the Palestinian people. No. Never that. This is all about Israel “protecting” itself. SMH. And where are our leaders on this? Oh, My bad…they’re all too busy taking funds from AIPAC to care about the brown people Israel is seeking to destroy. We are as much to blame for this atrocity as the Israelis.
